1. The next Class they add is not in World of Warcraft, for example they add Blademaster, Demon Hunter, Necromancer or Warden? All have sufficent backstory in either World of Warcraft or Warcraft 3. 2. The next Class they add is not in World of Warcraft and is also not even a traditional class? Like Old God, Black Dragon or Silithid? Again can all have cards to back their personalities. 3. There was a cure for Silence?
I'll leave the next What If's or discussion about these or other What If's to you :)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Nozdormu wins you every game where you opponent has to go to the bathroom on turn 9.
A cure for silence would be an arms race that leads to a really unfun game for everyone. Ok, I gotta devote 2-4 spots in my deck to silence cards, 2-4 to anti silence cards... when does the fun start?
Counterspell is the anti-silence. Then again, it doesn't address the silencing *minions* like Ironbeak Owl. Perhaps there should be a way to force taunt to act as a magnet for not only attacks, but minion effects like silence. So the owl could only silence a taunt minion if one were out. That would be a major change though.
Isnt that the same as playing additional minions to keep pace with minions which are killed through exchanges?
Not really, creature battle is fun. Silencing and unsilencing would be unfun. Creatures are the "threat" and silence (among other things) are the "answers". You can't have "answers" for the opponents "answers" or else the game gets boring. roodleitis mentions counterspell as being the anti-silence but it really isn't. It cannot for instance prevent an Ironbeak Owl or Spellbreaker from silencing a minion. And if the opponent has a non-minion method of silence they can always test the waters with another spell to check for the secret.
What if...

Skip the necromancer part and just give us a Deathknight class already! :D
Arthas as the class representative, of course.
That Death Knight Class that was shown in the Fireside Chat was epic ^_^. Hehehhe we need it!
Tinkerer class!

I'd like a chance to play this version before I start adding to it.
