In discussion in some other topic, today i learned there is no reward for advancing all heroes to gold and 100(!) gold for reaching all chars to lvl60.
This is a little bit sad consdireing ammount of effort and time required to achieve these goals.
Would be nice for example even getting a special card back (something shiny and golden:) - even though i am bit skeptical about all this card back stuff - they are NOT very distinctive on the board to feel satisfactory enough.
On the same topic, i personally feel sad when reaching golden heroes. Like when you are at 420 wins you sense a need and purpose to win.
When you get that 501st win (one to enjoy your new shiny hero) - you stop feeling as you would progress. In most cases i just drop that hero and go golden with another one. It could be just me being pedantic and loving "rewards".
But it´s not that kind of a big deal to get all Heroes golden. If you really want it, you´ll get it pretty fast... The last 2 weeks i grindet 3 Heroes from 1 to 500 wins. And the golden/shiny Heroportrait is enough reward i guess.
They should just have a look at arena rewards and a arena ladder for example.
Same as you... I'm going for my 5th level 60 hero and, once I get there, I'll leave it alone and go for another. About the golden ones, I wasn't very enthusiastic about ranked play until the announcement that we will get some more rewards than the season card back, so I don't have more than 400 victories overall, most of them with warlock and hunter fun decks... And all of this 'cause there's no good reason to go further with the playing and winning beyond the level-60, 500-ranked victories. I guess that when, if, I get there with all 9 classes, I'll even quit HS...
So, yes, I agree that more rewards would be nice. Maybe class-specific, hero power-related, not so much OP reward cards when reaching level 60. And, when getting the golden hero from the 500 victories in ranked play, the ability to turn that class specific cards already owned by the player into vinculated golden-ones with no extra cost at every, let's say, 10 victories. The only thing to have in mind is that these new rewards shouldn't be unfair to those who already reached the requirements to get them.

'You'll get it pretty fast' - even allowing for a 60% winrate (generous in ranked), and 7 minute matches (again, generous), you're looking at approx 840 matches per class, which is 98 hours. Times this by three, and you're claiming you spent over 12 days non-stop playing in two weeks, and it's 'not that kind of a big deal'
Like i said, IF YOU REALLY WANT IT, it´s pretty easy to get 150+ wins per day if you know how...

Well i am close to this now, have one class left, but i doubt i would quit - they release addons in a good schedule to keep everything interesting and fresh. Would be sad though - if playing after having all 9 golden - would not have any standing effect. SuperGoldenhero or whatever. Something in my opinion should be added - otherwise it takes away part of satisfaction of playing this extremely interesting and addicting game:)
Take Diablo for example - in early stages there was some limits to paragon/level and people started complaining on the lack of output for their grinding.
Eventually they changed the system so it stays rewarding continously one way or another. Did not play diablo for a while now - not sure what state it is now - so dont blame if info is outdated:)
They could learn from exprience with grinders in that game though
I guess the reality is that if you have all heroes golden and lvl 60, either you are a pro/streamer and have other reasons to play this game, or you have been playing this game way more than it is healthy and perhaps you should go outside and get some sun. Or you have been grinding like a Chinese factory worker, which is not really how you should approach video games (and casual ones in particular).
I feel the same way as the post owner, I completely abandoned my once beloved Warlock after getting golden. Would be nice if there were more long term incentives...

Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose. You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns. Don't ask why I fight.
There's probably so few people who get all 9 golden heroes and at this point they're probably not the kind of people you want to reward anyway. I doubt most of them do anything but farm rank20 all day. Why would they spend time creating rewards for a tiny fraction of the player base who also probably tries to game the system and makes the experience worse for a large amount of potential new costumers?
Yah. Should just start to implement an achievement system instead.

I know what you mean about feeling of not achieving anything winning with golden heroes
