I've been (somewhat) surprised at the overwhelming doom and gloom being proclaimed on the forums about the expansion, calling into question the design credibility of Blizz and the future of the game. Don't get me wrong, some of the cards announced have been 'worse' than others, but I honestly believe that that's not only okay, but great for the game. The accusation is that Blizz is filling the game with 'bad' cards so that people need to buy more packs to get the good ones. I would offer that, on the contrary, TGT makes the game more friendly for the casual player, and especially the new one.
Take Flame Lance for example. 5 mana, deal 8 damage to a minion. One of the biggest arguments against it was "why not play BGH?" Why? It's 380 dust cheaper to craft.
Yeah there are cards that I'll open from my pre-order packs that I'll dust because I have better cards, but a new player who picks up HS after seeing all the hype online will be able to build better decks sooner, and for cheaper, and I'm perfectly fine with that.

pretty sure it was meant as an example and his argument is kinda right new players can craft those or get the cards earlier through packs
what really bugs me though that they announce those bad cards as if they are something super special
