I was giving some thought on this subject and I think I have an idea (not like Blizzard would do this...). I think the overload feature is a detriment. to shaman. I get the whole idea and think it is a fun concept but I think it could be improved this way. I think you should be able to take the total cost of the card and divide it how you want. For example, if lightning storm cost 5 total mana, instead of it costing 3 with an automatic overload of 2 a player should be able to have it cost 4 on the current turn and overload 1 mana next turn. Or, if they have 5 mana this turn and want to play a fire elemental next turn they could just pay the whole 5 up front and have zero overload. Of course you would not be able to defer to next turn more mana than you would have. What are your thoughts on this?
No I think what he is saying is that you still have to be able to pay your overload costs the following turn. Earth Elemental would be a total of 8 mana. 5 from cost, 3 from overload.
The earliest you could play it would be turn 4 with an overload of 4 onto your 5th turn.
Give the shaman another card draw mechanic that isn't a totem, like have it cost 0 mana and have something like "For every overloaded crystal, draw 1 card". I think that's fair enough, since the next turn after the overloaded they basically can't do anything anyways.
There should also be at least 1-2 more spells that don't require an overload but cost a normal amount of mana. Or change that one spell card that gives totems 2+ HP and give them 1-2+ attack as well. That'd be fun.

Yes Triplefisted is correct.
play murlocs :P
Corralling Murlocs...
Don't you think there is a reason is is played 3 times less than the 2nd least played class (priest).
All inconsistencies aside, Murloc Shaman is really really fun to play ^.^
There's a thread on this topic 3 pages long created yesterday could you please use the search function?
