So i just got destroyed by some kid (@ rank 6) who was running some crazy deck.
Heres what happened: He was a mage running grim patrons. He played one (turn 5) -- i couldnt answer it. Then turn 6 traded into my 2/5 (druid of the flame) and got a second grim patron, then pinged his new grim patron, making 3 total. (he has 4 mana left at this point) and he echo of medivh's...
So now he has 3 copies of grim patron in his hand. Turn 7 comes.. Thaurissan into sticky cloakfield (that stealth spare part)
Nevertheless, by the time i got to finally kill thaurissan, his grim patrons were 3 mana each. And i got overran by a patron mage >.<
I don't really see what advantages mage brings to the table.
Playing a bunch of 3/3s at super slow speed is only reasonable as an ultra-late game plan. I can see Grim Patron being a reasonable late game pick for mage in arena, but even then its risky.

How do you know it was some kid ?
Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
Well, because he lost, obviously. He would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling kids!
Lolz, that was meeee!
Just kidding, but it sounds like the deck I've been playing for the past few days. It's pretty hilarious.
