Anybody else ever get that feeling like Hearthstone has just kinda said...time to move on to other things? Not even talking about the Meta here or BMing, just...tried to connect three nights in a row on pretty fast connections and either crashes or time outs before I even get to the game.
I've dumped a good few hundred hours into Hearthstone, but...is it time to move on, I wonder...
Pretty much this. I have not played in 2-3 weeks. I'll probably come back to it but sometimes you just don't feel like playing and then... well you don't.
I say you move on to a new service provider. I've never once had connection issues.... so It's not really the game in general that is having the connection problems. Really though you prolly should move on, who writes a post to ask people if they should move on because of connection probs?? o.o
i did have connection problems last week, or lag problems, more specifically. i was having 30-45 second lag when i would act, often resulting in my rope going off without me being able to finish my turn.
i know it wasn't an ISP issue, since i have google fiber. i uninstalled and reinstalled HS and it was 95% better immediately, but still have occasional 5-10s lag when i play cards, more than ever before... dunno what the deal is?
Well, I'm in China so I can't do anything about the service provider, but it does work here, I've tested it. So...dunno, it stopped after the last patch...I do still wanna play but...ehhhhhhhh...I dunno. Whatever. I've got other games I can play if Hearthstone doesn't want to cooperate.
I never really understand these type of posts. Are they just reaching out for some kind of social interaction?
It's so simple. If you enjoy the game, then play it. If not, then stop or take a break. People complicate things like this so much. It's not a big deal.
Given that, I would suggest taking a break since you're putting way too much thought into the game. If a game is making you think this much into it then you're way too addicted. I found this to be the case with many players when I used to play WoW. After a break their minds were much clearer.

if you're bored with it just move on, i still like it so i'll keep playing it, but if i get bored i won't force myself to play it.
