Hello guys, I took BHTrix collector's spreadsheet and modified it.
Now you can know the average of new and repeated cards you'll get per pack and the average dust you'll get per pack. You'll get this info for each of the 3 packs available now in game.
Just be aware that I'm a disaster organizing the information on a spreadsheet, so it will look like a deformed tumor compared to how BHTrix organized the original spreadsheet.
Oh I didn't touch the golden cards calculator, as I assumed the golden cards being equal to non-golden ones. So the average dust you'll get is actually higher!
have you ever considered adding some chart to the file? I'd like to have, for example, a bar graph showing my progress in collecting all cards for each hero and expansion. I have done it with my heroes progress (level 1 to 60 and games won 0 to 500)
Not a bad idea, it could replace the numbers at the top and be a visual display instead of numbers, which is better. I had no idea that it was even possible to add graphs in google docs tbh, I will look into it later, or if you got some examples that'd be great.

I'll look into it, since I have to take into account compatibility. It's nice, but if 5% or more from the people won't be able to properly use the spreadsheet anymore I think it's a bad idea.

Great job! I had done something similar (much less sofisticated) so I guess I will be using your spreadsheet instead :D
It's a little bit discouraging because I think most of us thought we had more than we have in terms of dust. I, for example, still need to collect 23,948% of the cards (222 cards = 56 legendaries + 116 epics + 50 rares + 0 commons). But I didn't know that was 60,195% dust-wise. I guess I thought I had a bigger percentage of the collection because out of those 222 cards I am missing, 170 never see play.
Yes, I have actually thought about making a version of the sheet with only important cards, but I think I'm not strict enough to judge wheter a card is remotely useful or not. This is mainly because I think there's different ways to look at which cards are useful or not. There are some gimmicky decks I'm sure some people do not care about, and removing the cards used in those decks gives a whole other list of to-get-cards than if you would include them. I personally love gimmicky decks, so I would be a lot less decicive in removing cards from an important to-get-cards list.
Maybe it's a cool idea to find a competetive player to make a version of the sheet with cards to get for competetive play only. I'll see what I can do.
and thanks ;) It's very daunting indeed, seeing the actual numbers.
I noticed as I'm filling stuff in, some of the percentage chances that a pack contains a card you don't have are over 100%, which is not actually possible.
If I'm reading this right, you're simply taking the odds of a missing Legendary, Epic, Rare and Common you don't have and adding them together, but you can't just add probabilities together
Lets say your odds for each are:
5% Legend 23% Epic 77% Rare 80% Common.
The formulas say that's a 185% chance of a new card...but of course it isn't, because that means you're certain to get one, and you're not.
In order to find the odds you need to multiply the inverse together, not add up the chances.
.95*.77*.23*.20 = 0.0336 .... 3.36% Chance of NOT getting a missing card
So it's a 96.6% chance of getting a missing card, not a 185% chance.
If you really wanted to get intense, you could calculate the odds of 1 new, 2 new, 3 new etc... but that may not be worth the effort.
So I think the Formula you want is =(100-(100-B276)*(100-C276)*(100-D276)*(100-E276)/1000000)
The odds of getting the individual types of cards is also not calculated correctly, again you can't have a '116% chance' of getting a Common you don't have.
I think what you're perhaps calculated instead is 'The average Number of missing cards you are likely to find per pack' which is also interesting to know, but it's not a % chance, so it shouldn't really be expressed as one. I think you're saying if those were your numbers, and you open a pack, the average missing cards you'd get is 1.85, not 185%
Both are valid metrics, but you shouldn't conflate the two
I've been trying to get a pro player to make a version of the sheet with the important cards only, but so far to no avail.
As per the charts, I'm not getting them the way they want and I havn't felt like learning how to do it just yet :P
I would want the charts to be the other way around - as in, currently you are seeing how much you are missing from the collection, this would need to become how much you've already collected, which in a sense, seems like a better way to put it anyways.
So that when you reach a 100% you have ''completed'' that part of the collection.
Any help appreciated.

Thanks for this! I hope you keep playing and update for future expansions as well!
Super easy and useful - and doesn't crash like some programs!
Thanks eggcite, unfortunately I have quit playing video games -
if someone would like to take over updating this spreadsheet, send me a message with a link for it, (just copy the spreadsheet onto your own drive, then share it), or request access while putting in as reason for access : wish to take over updating spreadsheet, and I'll make sure your link is in the spreadsheets that currently exist, so people can find your updated version, or that you get the access required to update it on my own drive. More info in first post.
You can change the name of the spreadsheet if you so wish - Rayman's collector's spreadsheet or what have you. I would like it if you left the continued version of BHTrix in there.
If you can bring yourself to updating the golden cards - well. It would make some people happy. I'll put up the link in the top of this post. I suggest whenever you update it with new cards, make a new topic :) Start from scratch there.
Thanks Rayman. Would've been a waste to let the sheet die!

Yo just want to say thanks for keeping this spreadsheet updated. I've been using it for a long time, and I think it's the best one that I've seen. I use it mainly to simply keep track of my collection (I don't really deal with the golds, I just lump them in), and although I don't really pay attention to the numbers, I think it's cool that people are modding it to add more/corrected stats. Excellent work everyone!
I love your spreadsheet! I use it to decide the proportion in which I buy packs with gold/Arena runs.
I did notice that you are still including Hall of Fame cards in the list of Classic cards. I've updated the formulas in line 276 to reflect the actual number of different cards of each rarities: Legendary 31, not 33; Rare 80, not 81; Common 91, not 93. And removed any remaining Hall of Fame cards from the actual list. Hope I did it right.

edit:
it is being updated
which makes me very happy, thanks KFT! and everyone else responsible for keeping the project alive!
I've started updating this spreadsheet after Rayman quit, here's an update for RoS. There's some details to be fixed regarding HoF and nerfs, but the RoS part should be up to date.
Ah! thanks! Fixed them!

These values can be changed and will affect the results of the spreadsheet
