I've got some amazon coins to spare and was thinking of preordering the bundle.
The only problem is that it's asking me for some 2000 coins extra on the mega bundle and 1200 on the normal (i suppose it's 20%, didn't do this basic math).
Does anyone know how to work around it? I have VPN on my phone and the app is downloaded from the amazon app store.
Sales tax/VAT should be applied based on purchasing location, and paid on import if from another country (insert caveat about UK/EU here, because that's an oddity - or was pre-brexit, and VAT forms still have an EU purchase and EU sales box. None of our businesses have EU transactions, though, so I've not examined brexit impact there other than seeing new tax codes in the software, and it's not relephant here). If you're in the US, I'd expect the net figure to be the one they show; if you're outside the US (don't know of anywhere else that routinely shows net for non-commercial), I'd expect the gross. You probably could use a VPN for a country with a low sales tax, though that would probably count as illegal tax avoidance, since you'd be meant to pay the sales tax on import, and you would probably have to pay card fees for international payments and the like too.

Where are you located?
Sales Tax / VAT is 19% in my country. What makes you think you're exempt?
