Was it included in patch notes when someone at Blizzard gagged players from using certain emotes after winning a game? (For those of you not clued in, the moment your opponent's hero explodes and they lose, you are gagged from using certain emotes, for example 'Thank You').
Yep, I'm still assuming its a bug rather than intentional as it doesn't work all the time..sometimes you can emote just fine, sometimes you can't, seems random. On PC.
I always felt some peeps are way too sensitive about emotes...they're just a harmless bit of fun, add some life to the game...so what if people use them ironically.
Im so sure, those "well played / greetings" facefuckers whined so hard after they got taunted with "well played / wow" after losing, Thats so hearthstone. Just read the forums and observe who gets down voted by whom.
Instead of auto squelch, I want a actual Chat window during Games, that is non-removable.
Let the Flame Festival begin, imagine how this would change Hearthstone and also these Forums and Blizzard receiving thousands of reports with complaints every day xD
Just would bring to the surface the unmasked anti-social nature of HS Gamers.

You should try Pokemon Showdown. People get real mad, others bait real hard.

In my experience it ALWAYS happens now and its always the same couple of emotes blocked at the exact moment the game detects the match has been decided. Too suspicious be a random bug imo. I believe either the devs quietly made the change to appease "toxicity" whiners, or a single person/group within the devs made a hasty, secret change (which could explain why it seems like a bug and perhaps doesn't always work).

This is happening (or not happening) since months.

You still can emote on mobile if you’re fast enough.
But what is still truly needed after all these years is the auto squelch option.
Take a walk on the wild side...
