I've lost a couple games due to a counterspelled coin I must admit, but it was a fringe case, most of the time the coin will be a good counterplay to counterspell.
You can also trick your opponent into thinking it's not counterspell because they have the coin, then again, won't happen a lot, most people rather waste a coin than take the chance.
I don't think it's that useful against aggro because they still counter 3 mana with 0 mana, but if it's your best play sure, go for it, I would rather waste my opponent's coin on turn 3 than ping face.
Hi guys
What do you think about using Counterspell on The Coin in early game?
useful vs:
- aggro
- ramp
bad vs:
- control
-value deck
let me know

You mean using counterspell to counter the coin?
Any opponent would say "thank you" for that, aggro or control, paying 3 mana and a card to deny a 1 mana to opponent.
If you mean coining out a counterspell then it depends on a matchup, obviously.
