Came back to the game recently. When I saw Book of Heroes I thought you get the portrait of the hero featured for beating them. And I was like nice, that is very generous. Imagine my surprise when after finishing the Jaina track all I got was one piddly pack :D
So yeah rewards need to be better, three hero packs seems fair, two is a bloody minimum. I have only done Jaina so far, beat all enemies on 1st try and I'd say it was easy, except Aethas. That fight was perhaps overtuned and took me a few tries to do.
I hear the complaints shared here and it is stupid if your deck sucks, why do that, make it stronger and make the enemy even stronger to compensate. Feels cooler. Or let people deck build and have the fights be harder still but then I think rewards need to be punched up too. That said I don't mind the puzzle setup if it is intentional and well designed. Always liked those "find the lethal" puzzles. But if that is what they were aiming for at the very least disable the mulligan so people always get the same experience until they figure it out.
These morons didn't even test these fights properly. Some of them are extremely draw dependent, while a lot of your cards are completely useless. Whoever designed this stupidity should be fired.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of them are fine. But these "gateway" fights are really annoying and having to redo them several times makes it extremely frustrating.

Waste of develoment time for something 95% Will only play one time.
I like the book of heroes content. Expect that last one woth rogue. I was really dissapointed.
