I'm sure some people used to open HS packs with the hspacktracker.com tracker. But unfortunately, this site is now dead.
So I've created a shell script to convert the archive from hspacktracker.com, extract and display the packs that I'm opening. I'm now sharing this script with the open-source community.
If you have your previous hspacktracker.com, you can use it to convert your old data to the new format and keep track of your old packs.
You can also track your packs once you've opened them by running the script which will add them to the DB (as a JSON file).
And finally, from the new DB, you will be able to display the pack content in either ASCII or HTML format. This also includes the capability to display the Pity timers of the extensions.
If you want further details, or want to download the script please check it from my GitHub I also managed to create a Container that runs the script inside an ubuntu environment as described on the README page in Github.
The ASCII & HTML(*) versions support to display the names of the cards in the following languages:
German (deDE)
English (enUS)
Spanish (esES)
Spanish - Mexico (esMX)
French (frFR)
Italian (itIT)
Japanese (jaJP)
Korean (koKR)
Polish (plPL)
Portuguese (ptBR)
Russian (ruRU)
Thai (thTH)
Chinese (zhCN)
Chinese (zhTW)
(*) The HTML format will display the cards in English only, the summary will contain the selected language.
Feel free to discuss it or to make any suggestions.
Disclaimer
I may have used some technical terms here, but I will let you check on them to understand what are the needs for this program to work. As this may require shell or container pieces of knowledge.
The script is only supported on Linux and macOS computers. It requires the following commands:
curl (to check the latest collection)
wget (to pull the latest collection)
jq (JSON query to manage the JSON files)
and you may need git to download the script from the Github repository.
Or the usage of Docker to run the Containerized version of the script.
The script has been updated from HS patch 19.6.74257 and now includes the "THE_BARRENS" extension. I will have to update the script to manage the new core set, but as the cards will not be available from packs, that should not impact the pack tracking for the new Hearthstone Year of the Gryphon, and the new extension Forged in the Barrens.
