usually because people are annoyed that you are being a "netdecking asshat" that copied the best deck of the expansion and didnt put any though on making your own deck and strategize
that or you are playing against druid that pulled 2 5 drops on turn 1 and need to cool off steam
Last time it happened to me I was playing my Maly Druid deck vs a Quest warlock. The warlock had to slowly watch me fetch all my combo pieces, I could feel his/her despair as I played Jepetto before I OTKed them.
I have found that the, in your words, "netdecking asshat"s also rope those who cannot recognize the non-netdeck that is being played. This community is as bad a Brian Kibler playing MTG. Horrible players that only steal ideas.
Speaking from a casual match perspective, I do get annoyed when people rope on turn 1 and 2... c’mon there’s really honestly not that much strategizing that needs to happen, or can effectively happen, at this point in the game. From a casual and ranked perspective I absolutely hate it when they start roping once they realize I’ve got the game in hand or I’m turning the tide against them. Seriously... just take your licks or concede.

Brian Kibler - the chap who was inducted into the MtG Hall of Fame as one of the best MtG players in the last couple of decades, and who earned the accolade of being the King of Dragon decks?
Anyway, this thread seems little more than a rant, and we have a thread specifically for that. Since I don't see anything really constructive happening here, I'm going to go ahead and close this one.

It's childish & annoying.
Play or go away.

Just go with the flow. Rope them back.
