Guys I have a question regarding the rotating cards. I am a f2p player and thus I only play standard. Wild decks require tons dust which I do not posses. I've been playing hearthstone since beta, but previously it was like 1 month play and 4 months pause, , so I've never really gotten any good cards from old sets. I have always been a standard player, so I have been dusting all rotating cards in the past. This time however I would like to know your opinion. Is it worth to dust all rotating cards to get a handicup now, or save them for hypothetical wild play?
I am a fully f2p player since 2015 and have been dusting wild cards since the introduction of the Standard format. It is quite simple. If you, as a f2p player, want to have formidable collection of cards- then you should keep them. But if you do so you will be heavily restricted with the cards you can play in standard because you will be missing a lot of resources. I personally believe the people when they say Wild is fun but for me that is and will forever be a secondary mode which does not interest me. So my 2 cents on this is- as a f2p player, the best way to enjoy HS is to dust everything you don't need.
I migrated to wild as soon it started. In general is a format far less expensive than Standard. I stopped playing in September where I used a Renolock and got back on march, tough I didn't get the free deck because I returned two hours before the patch hits, bullocks. And I still go around with an Cubelock. Diamond 8 at the moment, so maybe you should give it a go.
That's exactly why I'm aking, because I would also love to turn o wild, but I can't do it with my current 2,5 thousand dust. But you know I have a lot of legendaries that are totallly useless even in wild format. As I looked through best wild decks there are almost no cards from Witchwood or Rastakhan's rumble. I couned it and now if I dust all rotating cads without a few impactfull ones (like zilliax) I will get 12000 dust. I think what I will do is try to craft carefully a budget wild deck and see how it goes.

Since you having full dust all the rotating cards in the past, keep dusting. You have no value in wild anymore.
