Hello all, I’m new and am looking to play as F2P as possible. My free legendaries from KFT and K&C were DL Guld’an and Skull. Should I invest my dust (which is very limited at this point) in Cubelock or should I be concerned about nerfs? Will nerfs kill this deck in Standard and in Wild? I just really don’t what action Blizzard typically takes against decks if they’re OP.
In my opinion you should never invest all of your dust in to just 1 deck. It doesn't matter if the deck is OP, if it's the most fun deck out there, if it's about to get nerfed or whatever - eventually you will get bored of playing just this one deck. Instead - you should look for different budget decks, from different classes and try to put as many decks together as you can - and here is the most important thing - without crafting any cards. You don't need to copy them 1:1 - make some substitutions, if not sure which cards to replace and what to replace them with - ask. If there is a key legendary bound to a deck and you don't have it - move forward - look for another deck.
After that - use those decks to complete your quests and use the gold to play arena and test even more cards and interactions there. Never skip a tavern brawl and get your classic pack each week out of it. Play some dungeon runs when you get bored of aggro paladins and cubelocks and spiteful druids on the ladder.
Doing so, you will have fun for the longest period of time in my opinion, while acquiring new cards, possibly dust (from the arena) and more important - knowledge about the game. Then you will know what to do with your dust. This way is also the slowest, but hey, it is free :). GL and HF with your endeavors.

Only a masochist would start playing this game now. Not only do you have to build up a Classic set but you also have 2 years of expansions to collect for standard at the same time. Probably best to only start collecting the Witchwood set and the sets coming out this year, forget about last years sets (Ungoro, Icecrown, Kobolds) because they rotate out next April.
If you must just play arena on all 3 regions rotating between them when gold runs out on the others.
Gotta disagree with MxFragz, what Healing said above was probably the best tips someone could give a player starting out, especially a F2P player. If you craft one deck and it gets nerfed, you have nothing, and being F2P digs you a hole you’ll never get out of. I disenchanted all of my wild cards back in like early 2016, worst mistake ever for a F2P player, because you’ll have to keep replacing cards every 2 years.
I recommend this deck: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1083732-budget-witchwood-tempo-mage It’s super cheap, and if you got some free packs for the WW expansion, you may already have some of these cards. I’ve been playing this deck myself and you can get to at least rank 20 to start, and even further if you push.
making lots of different budget decks not the good place to start. u have most important parts of a tier1 deck, with cubelock u can easy make 100g per day and get 5th rank floor every month for extra 400+ dust every month. it will help more then fighting in a mud on a 15-20 ranks and getting bored.

Totally disagree, disenchanting your Wild cards is perfectly fine if you never play Wild. Probably one of the smarter decisions a F2P player can make.

Thanks! I really appreciate this advice and I will hold off from crafting anything for now.
RUN!!! Take your wallet and RUN!!!!!!
If you're just starting and got those 2 legendaries, I would say yes, craft Cubelock. You'll have at least one viable deck for now.

Try odd paladin. You only need Baku and 2 level up. The rest is very cheap and playstyle is retard easy and still a tier 1 deck now
