Below is a list of generically good cards, sorted by rarity, for each class (and neutral cards for any class). The number in () next to each card is the suggested number of copies to include in your deck.
Just to give another example, as really it could be said for a number of classes: What about Caw / Bite / Savagery or Mark of the Wild for the druid?
In an unrestricted deck, no. This list was intended for purpose of a full collection encompassing generic deckbuilding. I have created another, more exact list of decks that contain only basic cards here:
Thanks for the list, though I have to remark: Someone having a full collection, usually knows what they are doing (or have way to much money to dump in this game in a short period of time). So having a List of cards which are usually "good", doesn't mean having a good deck if played together.
Maybe a List of "good" combinations would be more helpful for someone already playing this game and wanting to spend some time/money in it. I know, a nearly impossible task longterm ;)

Note I fully appreciate the initiative, but the introduction text is confusing if indeed it was intended for people with a full collection as per the quote from OP, as it actually is aimed for "new players" - yet with full collection? :/
to help give new players a viable base deck to build upon as they see fit.

So... you don't think Sen'jin Shieldmasta is a good one, for example?
