Channel is like Choose One, but instead of an entirely different effect, the second option will be a stronger version of the first at the cost of some extra mana.
Channel (x): You have the option to pay (x) extra mana to activate the Channel effect of the card. For example:
You can either pay (2) mana to deal 3 damage, or Channel (2) and pay (2) extra mana to deal 5 damage instead.
It's a simple, useful and realistic keyword that could easily be added to the game sometime in the future.
