I came up with a cool idea for mill druid and want to see what you guys think of it. I drew my inspiration from curse of rafaam in that it puts cards in your opponents hand.
Entanglement: 3 or 4 mana "Give your opponent two 'Entangle' cards. They can't be played or discarded."
Entangle: 1 mana (not that it matters lol) "Can't be played or discarded."
For 3/4 mana you are essentially restricting the amount of cards your opponent can play, but you have to give up 2 deck slots and a loss of tempo.
This would have downsides in that twilight drakes and mountain giants would always get a bonus from it.
Still can't decide which mana cost suits it best... 3 or 4?
That's actually a really nifty mechanic and definitely not just for Druid. I know with Naturalize it makes sense for Druid, but it's also a great way to punish card draw and severely limit options for combos and hand buff. Also a huge counter to a lot of quests. I genuinely really love this idea. Whatever you do, just don't give it to priest (imagine shadow visions x2...).
I think 3 mana is fine. It's a great tech card, but ultimately not devastating to most deck types and easy to play around.
I could see this being fantastic for Paladin too with Divine Favor. Any literally anyone with an AOE clear ever, as it forces your opponent to remain below a tighter cap.

Thank you! I thought it would be best for Druid as they typically have been the most viable mill class. I wanted to create something that restricted your opponents hand while staying away from making them discard or stealing their cards in hand (Blizzard has stated they would never implement a mechanic like that). It definitely wouldn't make a huge difference in some match ups, but still shuts down combo and control decks from hoarding cards.
