Just got a golden illidan, I take it im supposed to D/E it but do I craft another legendary or what? I have a new account Im playing on and I havent really figured out what hero and playstyle I want to play so I figured itd be best to craft another legendary. I have ysera already. Who should I get next? I'm thinking of going paladin or potentially even warrior but idk, maybe even mage lol.
You can use the dust to craft another legendary or you can spend it to build a full cheapish deck like Zoo Warlock or Beatdown Warrior. Trump's mage cheap deck is also fine.
Paladin has the best class legendary which can also be played in minion heavy cheap decks, Warrior also have a powerful class legendary but its current best usage is in the legendary heavy warrior control deck. Mage's class legendary has its nieche but it's definitely the worst one.
...or you could just go for Ragnaros/Ysera if you prefer control, Leroy if you prefer aggro.
I would keep the golden Illidan as well, but that depends on if you plan on being a collector-type or not. Golden legendaries are hard to come by, even if you play and/or PAY a lot. On a new account, you might value the dust more, but think bigger picture. Do you plan on collecting every card or every golden card? If so, my advice is to just hold on to every card you get and only disenchant your extras (more than one of each legendary and more than two of every other card). I have actually disenchanted a lot of cards over the last few months to craft cards and decks I wanted, but I kind of wish I could have those back, because my collection feels pretty gutted. I have three pretty good decks as a result, but the rest feel kind of empty. Makes me wish there had been a data wipe on release, but oh well. Live and learn. From here on out, I plan on keeping all the cards I get (including all golden cards), disenchanting extras, and crafting legendaries gradually with the dust according to a priority list I've set up. It'll probably take a while to complete even the non-golden collection, especially since I've put zero money into the game (so far), but I'll get there.
