I am an avid Magic The Gathering player and I started playing Hearthstone this week and decided to build a mid-range Mage deck. I was wondering whether Argent or Sunwalker is the better 6. I only have enough dust to get one pair.
Argent: Good on the attack, kills pesky taunters fast, kills other pesky minions
Sunwalker: much safer, provides taunts for the deck (i am only using the spell that gives two 0/2's)
Imo the commander is better, since it will most likely be a 2 for 1 in most cases (charge + divine shield). On the other hand a taunt with divine shield is a massive silence target and in some cases you won't get the most of it. It can also be one shoted by spells like Assassinate without having the chance to be useful. So even after the nerf I still think the commander is better. Hope i helped :D

Also argus defender is just so much better right now. At 6 mana if you have nothing on the board they can do so many things to get rid of it. I do really like sunwalker though but like MadScientist said Commander is pretty much always going to be a 2 for 1. I think china uses Sun Walker in their meta but I'm not too sure on that.

You have convinced me. I did not think of kill spells or silence, only damage spells.
