So I have around 8.5k dust and I want to get the most out of it because I'm f2p, I already have golden Uther, Rexxar, Malfurion and Arfus. Which legendaries or epics do you think are safe to craft right now? I was thinking about crafting The Lich King because I like playing control decks but I'm not sure if it's worth it, I also was thinking about crafting Bloodreaver Gul'dan because Warlock is my favorite class but I don't want to regret it if it doesn't turn out to be playable in a tier 2 or 3 deck when the meta settles.
I watched it get creamed repeatedly yesterday. Almost everyone was able to clear it the turn it dropped. Mostly because everyone is expecting it. I would hold off, but that's just my opinion.
and @heartagramm, lich king won't be free, te citadel gives another reward, if you beat the last bos swiht all 9 classes you get an alternate paladin skin.
The Lich King currently is the safest craft, due to his amazing value. I crafted him in golden, and many streamers did too.
many streamers craft him in golden because they are sitting on more than 10k dust and open hundreds of packs, also because it's cool, I can't do what other streamers do
I was lucky enough to get him from a pack and after playing him for a tonne of games (albeit day one of the new expansion) I can say that he had turned games around, even if he's killed the turn he drops those death knight cards are amazing,
He is probably the safest legendary to craft, meta seems to be much more control oriented, and Lich King is one of the best control cards. I've played couple of games with him and he indeed does get killed turn after i put him down but he is not my and shouldn't be anyones only win condition. You are forcing your opponent to use some big removal like meteor on your Lich King and you are definetly getting atleast one card from here.

That's not an argument, if you follow that logic ragnaros is bad too because it has an end of turn effect and everyone expects it so it doesn't gain more value, same thing with ysera, but everyone knows these are some of the best cards in the game
I'm having trouble following this advice, but it would be wise to just wait to see what metas emerge. I think it's a great card, but I'm wondering myself if Arfus ends up being a more feasible option.
Personally I wouldn't even consider Arfus except for the pure fact that its a ghost doggo and all doggos, ghost or not are 10/10.
I would say that The Lich King is relatively safe to craft, but to be 100% sure you could hold off for a week or two. The reason I say it's relatively safe is because its a relatively flexible card due to the variety of DK cards. Cards like Army Of The Dead and Frostmourne are very good in aggro because of the sheer ability power you get while others like Death And Decay are a must in control type decks due to the fact that its the poor persons Flamestrike, with 1 less damage and 4 less mana.
So I'd say that The Lich King is preeeetty safe to craft, I'd craft him purely for fun factor.
If you have 8.5k dust yeah go for it! He's the most versatile legendary of the set far. I'm holding off personally because I can only afford 1 legendary and I have to decide which of the death knights is the most overpowered one to make (looking at Jaina at the moment but that could change in time)
I mean only golden uther, the other ones are normal, I got all of them from packs I saved with gold, and the dust is because I played too much arena and got rid off useless cards, and also got free 2000 dust because of the pity timer bug.
It sounds to me like you are working around any reason not to create it. So you are looking for someone to talk you out of it while obviously thinking its a fantastic card. So you should make it, but not because its so good. It is because you clearly think the card is huge in value. You compared it to Rag, so why are you even asking?
Definitely craftable. But if Lich King is splashable in control and druid decks everywhere then Black Knight is a safe craft too lol but pick your poison
I would say it's safe to craft him. Meta is flooded with control decks right now. I don't think that will be the case in two weeks but there should be a lot of control in meta and Lich King is best in that kind of meta

Just a casual player with a casual life :)

It won't be. We have already been told that we get a new Paladin avatar for beating icecrown.
he's completely worth it, safe to craft

Total worth, I say do it!

I crafted him and i stand by my decision! :D
Bitch i'm Willy Wonka!

It's good. It also generates a BGH in your opponent's hand.
how are you ftp with 4 golden legendaries from KFT and 9k dust??
They've most likely saved up dust from when the expansion was announced or even before that, or maybe they're extremely lucky.
I mean only golden uther, the other ones are normal, I got all of them from packs I saved with gold, and the dust is because I played too much arena and got rid off useless cards, and also got free 2000 dust because of the pity timer bug.

when you play it
you just expect only 1DK card from it
Which some of it is so bad
but it get your opponent removal for sure
I dunno i think it's not that good
it is like an option card.
