Mmh, don't really know, since it's expensive it would have been OP to couple it with Unleash the Hounds :P. That's the kind of card that, even though it doesn't survive your opponent turn, it procs at lease one so I guess it's worth it.
He really is quite a mystery. Given the right situation, he can be extremelly op. Given the wrong one, garbage. Or nay? We'll see. Sigh, now I can't wait for next week.
interesting note, if you have 2 kelthuzads then they become almost immortal unless the enemy has poly/hex or mass silence. or can remove both at the same time. otherwise they end up reviving each other.
now how do you get 2? well if kelthuzad can live through the 1 turn, then you can copy him with faceless, or play a shaman with reincarnate. since kelthuzad technically did die and get resurrected, he'll create a new version of himself. also in a shaman deck you can easily get all 4 of your totems if you can last long enough to get to that point.
so if you can make a shaman control deck, he can be pretty powerful.

The thing with any situation like that is that if you have enough board control to do such a thing you've already won and if you're relying on such a thing you'll die before you ever get a chance.
After all, that's quite a situational card. That's the kind of card that will rot in your hand at the end of the game when your opponent clears your board every board, and there it would have very little value. Just like Bloodlust I guess.
In what type of deck you think Kel'Thuzad will take place? Is he even viable?

I agree with ririply, its too expansive...
ramp druid?
i think any deck with lot of taunts gonna be too OP with him! rather using spells, silence or concede xD
The only class for whick this would matter is Paladin (equality combos)

Kel'Thuzad is going to be a VERY viable card when it's released!
....... In fun decks only :)
I'll probably test him out in my Druid deck, but I'm not confident. If he feels good, though, I'll probably start running Sylvanas Windrunner again.
I might run him in my reincarnate shammy deck just because the ability to resurrect 5 earth elementals at once is a great troll

Well, no .. If Kel'Thuzad dies, it dies and the effect doesn't trigger.
I agree that he MIGHT be good in druid decks and i think also in shaman decks
