Can't wait for Naxx. I love playing priest and among many other changes in the meta to come I'm starting to feel like Mass Dispel might see a serious upswing in usefulness if you're facing a field full of crazy deathrattles.
On a pointless sidenote, the spelling of the word dispel seems odd considering the spelling of the word spell.
Took your advice on using the dictionary to look up the word dispel. Though my intended point was moot, the word dispel actually comes from the Latin Dispellere so my point is accidentally still valid.
I mean, in general card draw is worth about 1 mana. So if we view this as a 3 mana spell... Cairne Bloodhoof is a 4/5 for 6 and a card. Yeti is worth 4 and a card (so silencing him is worth about 2 mana). Harvest Golem is a 2/3 for 3, most 2/3s are worth 2 and a card (so silencing it is worth about 1 mana). So if you hit Cairne Bloodhoof AND Harvest Golem with a Mass Dispel, thats your break even point.
For its effect, I feel like MD costs too much for what it is giving you. Things like Harvest Golems and Leper Gnomes just turns into a River Crocs and Murloc Raiders. I think Shadow Madness would be a better card to use as half Deathrattle minions existing have less than 3 attack and can be useful to proc their effects off for you and trade 2 minions away.

While I agree with shadow madness being potentially useful, I still feel mass dispel can be useful too. I don't think we should discount mass dispel just because everyone says it's bad and no one uses it. It could be like the shieldbearer or the ancient watcher or Silence where everyone they said are bad, but people found really good uses for them. It's still pretty costly, but it may have its uses with board control. I also think it has potential in an aggro deck where you can silence an entire board full of taunts or something.

-mass dispel will still suck.
-maybe you should look the word dispel up in the dictionary if you think it has to do with the word "spell".

I dunno all the Mass Dispel hate. I have used it effectively on a whole several occasions. Plus that card draw man.
Jokes aside I think its a great card but has large requirements to get value from.

It depends on the incoming meta,if you get alot of targets,it might prove useful to put 1-2 in your deck,it even cycles, which could make it viable

Well you usually combo Mass dispel before an AOE to clear the board without any side effects.

I'd rather it be cheaper and have no card draw. Seems like a really bad tempo loss to me as it is.
