This may seem like an obvious question, but here me out, let's say you have C'thun minions, but don't actually have C'thun. You then play a card like thought steal, or say Shifter Zerus, and C'thun is added to your deck, would it still receive the buffs from the cards that were played before it was added to your deck?
Yes. I've recently got Disciple of C'thun out of a Shifting Shade, giving my non-existing C'thun +2/+2. I then entombed the druid's C'thun and drew it the next turn, and it had the 8/8.

Weird. I've experienced the opposite. It was a C'Thun mirror, after my Priest opponent buffed up his own C'Thun a couple of times, he Entombed mine and played it later as a 6/6. There might be some inconsistency now that they need to fix, since our scenarios are slightly different.
