I am God awful at drafting anything... magic, hearthstone, etc... I tried using heartharena for help drafting and it was meh. Typical results are anywhere from 2-3 to 4-3. Is there a better tool out there for help drafting? Also everywhere I read says that mage/rogue are the best draft class yet I consistently have the WORST luck with them. Surprisingly, I have had the best luck with priest finishing 5-3 twice which are my two outliers from my normal range. Any advice would be appreciated.
well, I use heartharena, but usually I have 3-6 different picks. and 6 cards are basically 20% of your deck. so drafting is important, but even if you pick the suggested cards, you should have a better average that that. so first maybe you should check the forums about basic strategies and playstyles in arena and your drafting skills will improve with time.
Unfortunately, drafting tools won't automatically give you a better win ratio. They can only tell you which cards are generally better, but they won't be able to tell you when to use those cards or how to react to a specific situation. To get better you need experience more than anything. A very broad suggestion would be to give extra weight to your decisions for two-drops and removal.
