The gimmick is that any minion, whether played or summoned, is a 1/1 that costs 1 mana. Obviously this means that expensive minions with special effects are very strong here.

This Tavern Brawl sounds really interesting! I love the idea of all minions being 1 mana and 1/1, it seems like it would lead to some crazy board states and unexpected plays.
The balance is incredibly low. The replayability is quite high despite this. Is Lor'themar broken? When played on turn 1 he appears to add +1/+1 to the minion's original stat total, which they then get to keep? I just observed this behavior for the first time. He is in my deck, but I always mulligan him away because I don't want him to buff my deck until I've played embiggen. But if he is broken like this, perhaps I do want to play him first. Okay, switched it up to automaton priest to complete priest and forge quests, and playing automaton on turn one insta kills it???? Fuck this small independent gaming studio's inability to QA their fucking games before going live. WTH. I worked in QA for three years. It is not that hard to catch or fix bugs in a timely manner. Hearthstone is one of their most lucrative games and they can't be bothered to hotfix this shit?

you do know that they start in state of aura right ? Their initial aura is -1/-1 so that when you play 1st one they have their og stats. And as you have all minions are 1/1s playing one will naturally kill it.

nope, didn't know that. that should be pretty easy to code differently and avoid that negative effect though.
but its not. In a same way trading tradable on older machines will crash the game. I think asking for a better engine/code boat is long sailed
