I love Tavern Brawls. I look forward to them every week - and in particular, I thought that last week's one (although a repeat) remains one of my favorite brawls of all time - that particular type of mechanic is why I am so much looking forward to tryin out the Dungeon Runs in K&C.
So that said, I am a little disappointed by this week's one - sure, they can't all be amazing of course, there will sometimes be duff ones - or ones that some people like and others dont - and it could be worse and be downright terrible (I'm looking at you Money-sinker Hero Brawl! :-P ). Ahem!
Perhaps I've missed the point of this one somewhere, but it seems to consist almost purely of play high-statted low-cost minions to buff your void and go face. If you went first, (or your opponent dead-mulliganed) you probably won. I've tried it a few times to see if anything interesting happens with other cards such as Deathrattles but couldn't find anything that provided a "Must Choose" benefit.
Maybe I've missed something - has anyone else found anything better in their brawl this week? Any fun synergies that might normally be missed? Its cool to have the deck building side of some brawls, but there doesn't seem much of a stretch for this one. Maybe I just wanted a bit more of a challenge (a little selfish, sure. ) :-)
Ah, the freeze mage is a cool idea. But do you find you lose any tempo by having to freeze spell things? (Although I suppose it makes things like that 0 cost freeze spell useful for one heh!)
What about targetted removal to reset the opponent's void. Do you find that's worth it?
I've noticed a couple of the bugs, yeah - in particular with the Big Bad Wolf as an example. The first time it popped and then the wolf got eaten too. Then the next time, the wolf stayed.
If you are talking about. lack of single target removal in deck above, vaporize works fairly well in that role. Also, i found out that not many people play around it :v
Yeah in fairness I hadn't thought much about the Faceless cards, but they make a lot of sense. I just figured they were a bit slow since of the 3 games I played I was able to kill the opponent within the first 5 turns or so.

The 4 mana 1/1 faceless Taunt is also an interesting card to use
As long as it's not one of those "pick a class and get random cards *holds up spork* XD", I'm happy.
