I've never experienced anything like this before. I've been playing diamond ladder today, and been matched up against an enormous amount of mech rogue bots that always draw perfectly and beat me every game on turns 5 or 6. Every single bot has a name that consists of a adjective and a noun, like Sage Loa, Quartz Orc, Mint Grell, etc. They always draw perfectly, play the same cards, very quickly fill the board with highly buffed minions with windfury, and win before I can do much of anything at all. I've played the game for 10 years, and this is the first time I've had zero fun playing and basically find the game unplayable.
I've heard that these are Blizzard bots, used so that people don't have to wait in queue, but why create a bot so toxic? I even read someone's comment about playing against one of these bots and stealing a couple of cards from its opening hand. The bot actually never played either of the cards this person stole, instead playing the same opening cards that the bot always plays, confirming that the bot cheats. I suppose this confirms that these are Blizzard bots, since third party bots wouldn't be able to cheat like that. But, again, why create bots that draw perfectly every time, create an overwhelming board every time, and always win on turns 5 or 6?
I just checked my deck tracker, and I played 13 games against these stupidly-named bots in diamond. I have a decent winrate against human opponents, but have been crushed by the bots. This has made diamond ladder unplayable for me, and, for the first time in 10 years of playing HS, I ended up really hating playing today. I mean, what the point of even trying on ladder if you're going to have tons of auto-losses to cheating bots pulling you down? This is so stupid, I find it hard to believe.
I just checked. Games against the mech rogue bot made up 40% of my games in diamond. Didn't start until I reached diamond 10. I mean, what's the use of playing if you're going to get 40% auto-losses in diamond? Ridiculous.
Blizzard's own bots can no longer be encountered on ladder, so these are not official bots. As far as cheating is concerned, the Duels incident has shown that cheating is somehow possible, though I personally don't know about hand/draw manipulation. Perhaps it was a weird coincidence, perhaps the bot farms have come up with something new.
The purpose behind these is that someone lets the bots run for a while until enough gold was generated, then they sell these accounts to people who want to get into the game without starting from scratch.
The names are generic, suggested to you when you'd make a new account and have no idea for a name.
The best you can do, I'm afraid, is either wait until these bots are deactivated, or play a deck that specifically targets this deck. You may also try to play during a different time. Bots run 24/7, but when you play during a time when more human opponents are available, you should see less bots overall,
So i am not alone. I play two self build reno priests decks, and can deal with them. Not always tho, which makes me angry because that bot deck is so powerful. So powerful that i got confused at first if those are bots or not and did not report them, but then they flooded the matchmaker. I also made a deck solely to f*** with DK bots, but you know the drill, as soon i choose that deck, there wont be any DK bots and needles to say, that that deck sucks against everyone else.
I came across this a lot before the update. I had a DK deck that made mince meat of the rogue bots but now many of my useful cards have rotated. Feels bad man.

This is a huge problem, and I auto concede when faced against rogue. You are right about perfect draw, there is almost no way to counter this cancer.
