I always wanted to go to legend once (no Rank 1, but dumpster legend); though I must admit time constraints forced me to not go for. However I managed to build now a full collection (Wild and Standard) and now want to take up the grind.
I turn to you as a community to point me to some nice decks. With the advent of TGT I dabbled in some shamanery (mostly totem midrange shaman) and with LoE I really enjoy the Renolock (never Zoo). Before WoG I loved also playing Control Warrior (with Elise) and more than often some Druid. This seaon I had my tries with Tempowarrior (the Dragon Version).
I sometimes went Freeze Mage (but less so) and I played TwoBiers Beasthunter for a while.
Paladin was not high on my list (even in the time where secrent reigned supreme) and I only played Priest where DragonPriest was fresh.
The least played class (apart from the occ. Tavern Brawl) is right now Rogue.
Now with a full card collection at my disposal I really want to have more than one earnest look (watching some streamers to see some solutions on how to use your cards for full effect).
Tell me which decks you currently like. What do you think would fit in the previous preferred decks or do you have other decks to Highlight.
I have yet to achieve legend myself and that is because I'm always crafting different decks and experimenting. Don't be like me if you want to achieve legend. Pick a strong deck, if you can make it bonus points but don't let that tie you down, and just play play play. Watch videos about hearthstone, watch tournaments, live and breath hearthstone as your primary game. Honestly as for decks to play just take a look at any of the decks on the front page. They get there for a reason.
I see a lot of people usually pick one deck and use it all the way for laddering, usually changing out a few cards here and there to adjust for what they come up against... but personally I feel like having 2 or 3 decks to swap to when you feel like your deck is being countered a lot could be useful. But then again, don't listen to me lol. I cant seem to get past rank 15 in standard since standard became a thing, and I usually made it to around rank 6 pretty easily.
I'm no legend player but I consistently get to 4/5 in standard (and i stop because of school). Use tempostorm's metasnapshot as a reference for what the meta is filled with in ranks 5-1. Try to choose something in top tier 2 or tier 1 because any of those can get you to rank 5. And from there you can change your decks depending on the majority of matchups you are facing from there. It tells you the favorability of matchups and mullgains etc. If you need to watch somebody play the decks I recommend watching a streamer. As of now, it says that there are a lot of C'thun druids and mid-range hunter, so aggro shaman is very popular. If you haven't tried it and you said you have all the cards, then definitely play it. It's super fast and easy to use. If you need any help you can add me! I'm gonna try to grind to legend this month since I'm going to be on break from school in a few days! :)
I've been playing Tempo Warrior mostly, with some midrange shaman and hunter when I feel like RNGesus is on my side. I tried dragon nzoth priest before that, cant really recommend it.
I've never been legend either. Probably could have done it with Face Hunter back in the day but I got bored around rank 3. The grind is real.
PS never play Freeze mage, matches take forever and you are cheesing to the point of not even playing the game anymore. it's the "how can I break Hearthstone?" deck.

Thanks for all meaningful Input :)
