So, this month has been a really interesting one, especially of how many Shamans I've encountered during my ladder climbing. I've seen and fought a lot of them, Midrange, Totem, etc., but there's one deck type that is absolutely insane and stupid that it made a lazy ass guy like myself to make this thread out of pure hate and despise towards them. Are you familiar with THIS opening hand?
Turn 1: Tunnel Trogg (pretty standard, right? even in standard, everything is still the same)
Turn 2: Totem Golem (ffs)
Turn 3: Coin+Feral Spirit (if no coin, then Flametongue Totem)
You CAN fight off that opening sometimes, but that's not the biggest problem, the biggest one is DOOMHAMMER+2xROCKBITERS.
Blizzard still hasn't changed that card, no nerf, no NOTHING, it's still a 2/8 windfury BULLSHIT it was always. And the reason they haven't nerfed it yet, because they don't want to kill Shamans like they killed Rogues by nerfing Blade Flurry, only viable removal they had. Instead, they gave them 4 mana 7/7, which is ridiculously powerful now that BGH is nerfed a bit. After last 15 consecutive Shaman matches, all with the same opening, I've come to the conclusion that Shaman class is BROKEN. And I get it, you want to rank up fast, so you play an aggressive class, a bitch class, but you are, by itself, a BITCH. There are a lot of better decks that loose to this one because Shamans decide to put a couple of Troggs and Doomhammers and win the game. So, here's my question... Do we beg Blizzard to nerf it, or do we shoot ourselves in the head with Caliber 357 Magnum Revolvers? #FeelsBadMan
Oooh! A Shaman thread! I wonder what insightful knowledge I can learn from this one that I haven't already learnt from the 100 others that I just passed.
