I wanna know is anyone using Fencing Coach effectively? The card seemed like it was the key to inspire decks, but sadly isn't being used. I would like to use him along with Confessor Paletress in a priest deck. Any chance someone built a deck with these cards already?
I was making a deck with him in a sorta Paladin control/inspire deck, with Kodorider, Murloc Knight and Nexus Onion Saraad. Kinda lost the deck, but the idea was to play him as a 3 drop, allowing you to play murloc knight on curve. Dunno if its worth it, since i never made the deck though, but try it out :)
The ONLY reason to use Fencing Coach would be in a deck that emphasizes using the Inspire mechanic on curve. Otherwise a 2/2 minion for 3 mana is underwhelming. For example, if you're a Paladin, you're getting a generic 2/2 minion and a 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit. That compares unfavorably to Razorfen Hunter that gives a 2/3 and a 1/1 minion. If you're a Mage it's exactly the same thing as an Ironforge Rifleman.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
It's kind of like a reverse overload effect so you can stack an extra hero power use for the turn after you play it.
