Which mode of play would you suggest for someone just wanting to have fun, not caring about win/loss record? It seems arena is out as well as ranked mode. Which is less competitive, Tavern Brawl or Casual?
an issue in casual is players who farm dailies against you with meta decks. If you lose enough games your MMR will be low enough to miss out on those maybe. Conceding when you recognize a tier 1 deck is not always a fun but possibly viable strategy to keep it light and fun.
It's my understanding that in order to get the chest rewards you need to win at least five games. And I'm not saying I don't care at all about winning. I'd like at least a small chance to win, which is not possible if everyone around you is hyper-competitive.
Wild casual is always fun if you want to feel like you are playing against different decks. They use standard casual for daily gold cap and spamming high tier decks. When you play standard casual, you feel like playing solitaire.
I can suggest you to play wild casual.
Also if you want, you can add me. I delete my decks weekly and creating new ones to play. You can always face a different deck if you play against me. Well, i can't give rewards but we can enjoy :)

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!

If you dont care about win or loss, might as well play ranked and possibly reach better end of season chest rewards.

Petition for Jaina's boobs to return please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Friendly duels. (Casual is also somewhat competitive because of quests that require to win and the passive 10 gold per 3 wins reward.)
