With the upcoming expansion, I would like to see everyone's opinion towards the update. I personally would like to see druid getting buffed while hunter getting weaken simply because I just can't stand seeing so many hunters playing in such fast tempo in rank 7-8. What do you guys think?
I'm hoping to see a buff for druid with GvG. It used to be my go to class when I hit a wall of aggro in ladder, but it has a hard time keeping up since the Naxx expansion. I've been messing around with a more midrange druid with undertaker and unstable ghoul, but Druid still has a hard time gaining momentum, especially once it gets a little behind.
Warrior will benefit most. The warrior is always fairly strong, hardly ever nerfed, and has few weaknesses besides anti-weapon cards. It can do well against aggro and control. It will likely have answers for most of the things in the expansion. I suspect the expansion will not only push it over the edge and help it get better directly, but it will also stay strong from a counter standpoint during the new meta. I'm also particularly keeping an eye on Bouncing Blade because I feel like it works really well with the class.
Rouge is a close second. Rouge will get some synergy with pirates. Although, we don't know what because some people didn't vote for it. The real killer, though, with be a mech themed rouge. Mimiron's Head + Conceal and then V-07-TR-0N + Cold Blood = win. Except of course the Warrior counters this with Brawl and/or Bounce. And Hunter can counter with things like Flare, Deadly Shot, and Freezing Trap. But overall, that combo will wreak havoc on the meta.
I like what I've seen of the mage cards so far. That, and a lot of the neutral cards appear to work well in a mage deck. We've already seen mech based mage gameplay in the video. And a certain destruction based mage deck for the expansion is already grabbing attention. So I think the Mage will benefit a lot. I put it third.
Priest will benefit from Shrinkmeister and Velen's Chosen. It will help a lot of the combos. And it will no longer be certain that 4 attack creatures will counter the Priest. I'm slightly worried about this, as it will make playing certain styles against the Priest not viable anymore. But on the other hand, the Priest probably wasn't even in the top 5 best classes anyway. I don't think that alone will be too big a buff.
Druid is a bit unknown, but they tend to be fairly strong no matter what the meta and there are a lot of ways to viably build the class. I can only guess they will benefit from the expansion to some extent. To what extent I can't say as we don't know the cards. But I assume they will come out no worse than middle of the pack in being benefited.
Warlock mech zoo will be an interesting new option. This will benefit the class a lot. But there will also be new cards like Explosive Sheep to help deal with the anticipated aggro. And Handlock will likely suffer due to new cards for mill decks and the fact that Warrior will get even more clear with Bounce. So it gets balanced out.
I have no idea about the Paladin. I assume the new meta will help it to some extent. But on the other hand, it seems like many of the Paladin's current best options have alternatives for other classes. Since I haven't seen the new cards for the Paladin I can only anticipate a slight benefit compared to other classes.
Chances are Hunter will take a step back because they are too common in the current meta. Blizzard likely kept this in mind for the expansion. Although, chances are the Hunter will also have some good counters to the new meta.
I have decided Shaman is screwed because that new revealed Shaman card was crap. Ancestor's Call. Hah! Why didn't people vote for the Tree? They ALWAYS seem to vote for the wrong thing. If you had any hope Shaman players, it probably died right there.

Caution: Steep Incline (Ramp Druid)
