Hi there, sorry to make another post about this, but i really need feedback, because i am getting different views about QUest Rogue deck. I´m not playing much since the release, but i opened all the cards needed to make quest rogue deck(Dog version). I´ve done about 20-30 games since the release, and my winrate is about 50%, playing between rank 12-11. I consider myself a good player, and won every single game in which i could activate the quest. I don´t waste combo parts, i.e. playing an cheap card without bounce, i know how to manage my removal efficiently. And i feel that the deck is not overpowered, and get stomped like any other combo deck. But all this forum whining is making me doubt myself. Did i hit a ladder wall, or am i right about the deck ? Can you give me more information about the success of the deck in higher ranks ?
I played from rank 2 to legend on EU today and was facing around 30% quest rogues in this ranks, so I would assume that it is somewhat successful. Most common version is the one with the elementals and vanish, probably because its decent against quest warrior. However there also is quite a few of pirate warriors in high ranks, so not sure how good quest rogue really is.
I'll give you feedback: the rogue meta you're imagining doesn't exist. Rogue may be a good deck, but it loses consistently to many other decks and is far from consistent or good.
Boy golly I sure do love losing to the same rouge deck over and over but that cant be because its not that good. The only time I can beat it with Priest is by getting disgustingly lucky card duplications like 6 shadowsteps on Lyra and 2 extra dragon fire potions. Serves me right for playing priest tho amirite? Well I guess its time to switch to a rushy piece of shit warrior deck like everyone else and play the same 3 class matchups all damn day long. This game is so fun.
I play quest rogue and have been around 75% winrate from rank 20 to 10. It is all about matchups and playing more defensively or aggressively depending on the opponent. you should decide which minion you are going to use for the quest (i prefer swashburlgar or flame elemental, then use the other cheap minions to bait removal and draw cards.
Why are people so concerned with win rates? Forget that and focus on gameplay and how interactive it is to play against. Thats my main issue with the deck. I've beaten it plenty of times but was that an enjoyable interactive experience? Hell no! It was rush face asap or the game is over. That from a design perspective is horrible and team 5 and blizzard in general should be able to produce a far richer gaming experience. Those are my issues with the quest.
im with a 50% winrate between rank 5 and 1 with this deck, its not broken as people say, i say that it has a high skill cap and its pretty much inconsistent, for me the warrior quest is way more broken.

It's almost like it's not as good as people say.
