'Cause I'm pretty sure it's awesome. The amount of draw you can get with Acolyte+Cleric is insane, especially with PW: Shield and Velen's Chosen to buff the Acolyte up. It's got synergy with Pyro too, which is nice.
I think it's fine, but it forces you to run some cards that you don't always want to run such as Velen's chosen (I stay away from it personally). I've seen some pretty good decks out there, but if you put too much into your acolyte you become vulnerable to shadow words, execute, assasinate, and the like. If you don't put enough into it, then you shouldn't bother running it in your deck. Usually when you have card draw in your deck you're trying to draw a combo or a win con faster (I.E. grim patron draws the warsong patron, and miracle rogue draws cheap spells to combo [especially into edwin]) . What are you trying to draw in this deck? this deck might end up milling itself too quickly to be worth it.
I want to note that I don't have first hand experience so I am quite open to being wrong

I've tested Velen's Chosen, which is why I mentioned it, but I'm not entirely sold on it either. I admit, it has become an issue that I draw a million cards, but then have no actual win condition...I've been considering crafting Mountain Giants, because with Acolyte and Cleric you can get ludicrous hand sizes. Or maybe actually getting a Velen and trying to draw into a kill combo.
I'm currently using it in my velen combo deck (rank 5 right now), it usually draws me a minimum of 2 cards per game.
AoP is my main draw engine since I'm not running CoH so my clerics often only draws one card. They combo so good with velens choice and a pyromancer on board. I actually fatigue myself more often with this than classic priest.
