General strategy:
-Mulligan everything if you dont have a Young Dragonhawk in your hand, if you can't play it in turn one restart the fight
-If you have the Young Dragonhawk on your starting hand keep cards who can protect it (the best ones are Hand of Protection Argent Protector Righteous Protector Shieldbearer and Dark Conviction)
-Blessing of Wisdom is also a pretty good card to keep in your hand at the start because is a 1 mana draw 2 cards every turn
-Keep the whole game buffing the Young Dragonhawk
-If he dies restart
Edit
Special thanks to kiwiinbacon for making a video playing the deck and showing how it works
After many restarts I did it, I've added one Seal of Champions instead of the Hydrologist because the secrets were mostly dead cards.
It will surely take some restarts and draw luck, but when this deck works, it's brutal. I ended it on turn 6 with a 7 attack Young Dragonhawk (LK only had 10 health left at this point).
Thanks for this deck. Killed him at turn 6 after some tries with Young Dragonhawk buffed at 24 attack (some +3, +4/4 and finally the double attack)
this is definately not impossible, sub in 2 consecrates theyre good.
kinda won twice, had lethal once but forgot to use blessed champion, then won again later
Took over 2 hours of restarts and fails until I got lucky (both with draw and AI plays). The deck works but very rarely. Can't really complain when it's f2p-friendly though, good job, thanks!
took me quite a while to get it done but I did...with a very buffed Shieldbearer!! lol thanks!!
I have a screenshot but I am new to this and not sure how to get it uploaded
thanks! 20+ try's & i beat him
After many attempts and mulligans, I finally ended him with a shielded 8/1 Young Dragonhawk on turn 6.
It appears to me that Blessed Champion is a must on turn 5.
Advice:
I believe that keeping the Young Dragonhawk at low health allows you to trick the AI into not dealing with it.
I did not play any minions other than the Young Dragonhawk to minimize the boss' board presence.
Thanks for the inspiration! I couldn't quite get there with this deck, so I modified it to run almost no minions and finally won after that. Here's my modification: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/972955-budget-young-dragonhawk-buff.
Having tried your deck, it has better chance than raviolrevolucionario's especially when lich king cast Obliterate after you has Redemption on board. I replace Light's Justice with Rally Blade and Hand of Protection with Potion of Heroism. Although still having to take multi-restart to mulligan the Young Dragonhawk.
Yeah, there's no way to avoid restarting until you get the proper starting hand with the Dragonhawk strategy, but those are some solid sounding replacements. I added those to my notes on my deck's deckbuilding section for some alternate card suggestions.
Thank you! I made it on the first try!
This deck is impossible. Dragonhawk finally drawn after 17 mulligans, only to be Obliterated at turn 3. Restarted 13 times, finally got a Dragonhawk on Mulligan, Obliterated at turn 4. etc...
Move along people, this deck does NOT work.
Yeah, I agree. Every time I start to ramp up my dragonhawk it gets obliterated. I don't know how I'm supposed to keep it alive long enough to actually kill the LK.
Second try win, I got a really amazing buff draw. Thank you SO much!
thanks worked on 5th try
Took me about an hour to do but I did it lol. Good deck
Obliterate is frustrating af tho
~ 20 minutes and I unlocked Prince Arthas skin because it was my last boss! Thanks so much for deck!
I did it on the 5th try.
Turn 1: Dragonhawk
Turn 2: Wisdom, Attack Twice, Adapt into Stealth
Turn 3: Lights Justice, Noble Sacrifice
Turn 4: BoK
At that point it was RIP, I was getting so much card draw that I had a guaranteed perfect answer for everything.
Yeah im realy close to giving up. it looks possible but the king just keeps taunting... How long can this go on honestly man
