So far 11-0 with this Taunt Token Druid I have created at the beginning of the launch.
8 out of these 11 games have gone to fatigue but I have always remained victorious.
This deck revolves around never letting your opponent hit face while pressuring with a lot of minions, forcing your opponent to always have an answer.
I have never had an issue with aggro since my taunts come out too quickly, and against the new control warrior, I give more pressure and beat down his health faster than he can draw me out to fatigue.
There has never been a moment where I was below 20 health at the end of the game.
I will keep this write up to date so others can ask questions or if I have anything to modify in the future.
I would say that every single card in this deck list is necessary, because each one has had its strong use already.
*Edit* I am now 23-1
I lost once to Evolve Elemental Shaman, Poor early game drawing and he had everything on curve with his Legendary on turn 5. I'd say bad RNG but always good to keep posted.
Thanks man! I'm glad you enjoy it and it works for you! It's the first deck I personally made and posted here. Any feedback would be appreciated!
How'd you find Hadronox to be in this deck? A lot of people are pushing it off as a bad card, but with this many taunts in the deck, it seems to have quite a lot of potential. Has it won, or turned around a game in your favor?
It's an incredible card against particular match ups. Of course against any class you're going against, you want to make sure that it does find a way to die. Of course against mage match ups and shaman, you want to be careful for polymorph, secrets, Hex, silences because your ultimate goal is for this thing to die. This card has brought the tide of some fights back in my favor, but I also see this card as an immediate threat to the enemy and while you're ahead, they'll gonna struggle or be forced to use hard removal on this. If they ignore it, easy trading or face damage.
What do you think of working Naturalize in to trigger Hadronox like a battlecry when facing mage/shaman/priest?
Ive actually never had a problem with card draw so I never needed a Nourish. I find late game wild growth and Wraith to be perfectly fine. Also with card generation from Stonehill defender, Moonglade, Spreading plague, I've always kept up.
*edit* Ultimate Infestation helped once and it helped out a lot.
In this deck, nourish is used more for ramp then card draw; however, its flexible and that's what matters. I personally only run one (ramp if i get it early and card draw if drawn late).
In my opinion, you cant replace the strong value of getting both your choose ones, especially with the new update on Wraith where both of the effects will happen differently, so now you can take out divine shield minions and still do damage. Also the value of Malfurion + coin/innervate + Fandral is ridiculous value. I would say if you HAVE to fill in a space, almost any value card could work that puts pressure on the enemy.
