Hey guys, I'm Snake, a rank 15 player. I made a Control/Aggro Shaman deck a while ago, and recently with the new naxx release i feel this deck really got alot better due to the amount of early game clear and silences for Haunted Creeper and Neurbian Egg
FAQ:
Q: Why so little late game drops? A: I've tried many late game drops (Ragnaros, Al'akir etc.) and they really havent worked with the deck well
Q: Why 2 Stormforge Axes and Oozes? A: Since theres currently alot of Hunter going around ooze is good for eaglehorn and axe is good for the tokens from Savannah Highmane
Q: Why a Mana Tide Totem A: With this type of deck you really depend on card draw
Q: Why is the deck Control/Aggro? A: The reason its a Control Deck is because of its early game board removal (Lighting Storm, Earth Shock, Rockbiter Weapon etc.), The reason its a Aggro Deck aswell is because of the early game damage from Rockbiters, Lighting Bolts etc.
Match Ups:
Zoo: If you get the right cards early (Lighting Storm. Stormforged Axe etc) this matchup should be really easy.
Miracle Rogue: Very hard matchup for this deck due to the lack of taunts which are very easy to remove if your going against miracle rogue.
Preist: This really isnt a common matchup and it usually goes to fatigue
Healadin: I personally haven't went against a healadin so i have no idea how this deck would work against it.
Mirror Match: You shouldn't be running into any shaman decks like this because its a completely custom deck i made with cards i had.
Tempo/Backspace Rogue: Very hard matchup. Only thing i would suggest is to keep Ooze for the posioned assassins blade.
Face-Hunter: A matchup that you should commonly lose because of the lack of taunts in this deck and the lack of heals.
Control Warrior: Usually goes to fatigue since its a control vs control
