PLAYSTYLE

C'Thun Warrior is an alternative variant of Control Warrior that utilizes C'Thun as its primary late-game win condition. It relies on a very defensive late-game, utilizing Ancient Shieldbearers and Twin Emperor Vek'lor to bring its life total far from reach of aggressive assaults. In order to beat out other control decks, often times the C'Thun Warrior player may choose to play a Doomcaller or an Elise Starseeker.

META

With worse overall matchups than Control Warrior, this seems like an inferior version of the standard list. Yet, as Control Warrior mirrors become more popular, this list could rise in popularity, as the use of C'Thun, Emperor, and Doomcaller + Brann secures the mirror victory. For tournaments, it's definitely a viable option to bring, but for ladder play, standard Control Warrior is almost always better, except in a few pocket metas.
