Against what type of crappy deck are you supposed to win with this deck?
Zoo... ok. Warrior impossible (no matter which one), druid impossible... shaman... no chance.
You can win against other priests...perhaps a rogue... or another 2% of player base.
you are absolutely right bro
The reason why Earthen Ring Farseer is in the deck is because after a successful T2 Doomsayer, you want to have something to play on your turn 3. Healing for 3hp while developing a 3/3 can be a big deal against aggro decks, especially since Flash Heal may be used as removal paired with Auchenai Soulpriest and Embrace the Shadow.
Running 1 copy of Embrace the Shadow makes keeping Circle of Healing in the opening hand a lot better since you have another card to pair it with for a 4 damage AOE which can be used for 2 mana.
What did you modify?
Very nice. Embrace the Shadow makes for some lethal combos not possible with Auchenai Soulpriest.
I played a very similar nzoth priest deck a while ago, it didnt work against aggro tho. maybe this is the upgrade it needed. i like doomsayers more than pyro anyways, and i love the concept of having lots of healing in it that could be damage as well.... shamans would be a pain in the but anyways tho..... ( if not this deck would be extremely good)
Nice deck! The only thing that I changed was switching [card]Earthen Ring Farseer[/card] for Elise Starseeker
so far I went from 18 to 10
I have been going with a similar priest on EU from rank 6 to 2. Weapons are everywhere, which is why i run a harrison instead of loot hoarder. I have also experimented with Shadow Madness due to hunters. The meta is sickeningly boring - practically only shaman, hunter, midrange warrior and zoo, with a sprinkling of tempomage. 50 games, not a single paladin and only two priests and rogues. You have to aggressively mulligan for SwP and either part of the auchenai-combo, then you have a chance to stall the tide.
If you like control decks be sure to check this out its a Reno-C'thunlock. Sorry for advertising in the comments but I figure id give it a try
It is really great deck and I was using the same deck except these changes.
-1 Earthen Ring Farseer
+1 Cabal Shadow Priest
I've reached rank 5 but faced a lot of hunters and they wreck you most of the time. And c'thun druids are sometimes pain in the ...
If you are facing a lot of control warriors it is really worth to play.
Pretty solid Priest deck. You really have to know your opponents deck for mulligan in some matches. Paladin can be real tricky if they are playing swarm instead of control and you mulligan wrong. Definitely a deck you need to practice at playing.
Slow as shit, but since its a tournament deck, we cant rly expect to ladder with that anyway so ... no point of any discussion on this rly.
Doomsayer is a good turn 2 play. Pyro is not. And most n'zoth priests are cutting the Power Word: Shield and Northshire Cleric these days because they aren't good enough in the current meta.
This deck is a tournament deck, and isn't good for ladder by the way. In tournaments you can ban classes, unlike ladder.
It's such a bad deck that I went 12-3 in my first 15 games with the deck. Rubbish.
Priest is bad nonetheless, no need to be excited if you run good.
The deck is fine but there is a reason why no one bothers to play the class atm.
I see 5 draws here but w/e (maximally 10 if counting nzoth). U have Museum Currators, Shifting Shades and Loot Hoarder :V
You're assuming that I'm playing at really low ranks. Granted, I haven't hit legend this month, but I started my run at rank 6.
