I believe this would be the strongest entry in a tournament where you eliminate your opponent by winning with his/her deck against the opponent playing yours.
Majordomo Executus is the only source of damage in the deck. Given the cards that cycle and Excavated Evil putting cards back in your opponent's deck, it's likely that the deck's only feasible strategy (winning in fatigue) would fail, forcing you to dump out Majordomo and try, foolishly, to win with that.
Since your opponent is likely to be able to deal with Majordomo right away (since after all, why bother to remove 0-attack minions that your opponent's own spells will likely get rid of eventually anyway?), the card offers what appears to be a chance at victory, while instead most likely ensuring an ignominious (but hopefully entertaining) defeat.
