Rubik here, with an initial thought on how a LoE murloc Paladin might look. Let's look at a few of the ideas I have.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brann Bronzebeard + Crazed Alchemist = This is the the fundamental power of this deck, because Brann let's our Alchemist swap attack and health twice! This allows us to buff our murlocs like mad, giving the murloc deck a potential late game if it stalls out. Let's take a look at one possible situation:
Turn 8: Brann Bronzebeard (3) + Warleader (3) + Grim. Oracle(1)
Turn 9: Old Murk (4) + Seer (3) + Alchemist (2)
Result: one turn 9, the seer and alchemist trigger twice, buffing our old murk to a solid 15/16 with charge. Add to that the other buffed murlocs, and you should easily hit lethal. And that is just one of the many possible combos to boost your murlocs to a whole new level.
Additonally, Brann can help us draw more cards (like a ton of cards), buff murlocs with murloc BCs, and more. Alchemist on it's own isn't half-bad either when it comes to getting some good buffs swapped.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Murloc Knight + Sir Finley Mrrgglton = An even better Murloc Knight! Plus a solid body for the early game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyfin Can Happen = This gives us yet another set of chances at pulling a win in a long game. If we somehow make it to turn 10, we get to completely fill our board again. And then again. Not sure if 1 or 2 copies would be best, would suck to get them in hand too early. But this card opens up the deck a lot.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, considering maybe adding Emperor Thaurissan, because it helps set up the big combos, but also would slow things down a lot. So I don't know. It's a theory deck.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All-in-all, no idea if this deck will be good or not yet, but it will definitely be fun, and have some wonderfully crazy things happening in it.
Crazed Alchemist will not work the way you think it will. Brann Bronzebeard won't let a minion's targetable battlecry target 2 different minions, it will just swap stats, and then swap them back, accomplishing nothing.
no but the silly way it works with old murk eye is that it swaps stats, then murk gets hi attack raised, then it swaps it again, and the health goes to his attack and gets buffed again and his attack goes to his health. Complicated but brken
This exactly. The way stat swaps interact with aura effects is what we are taking advantage of here. So when you swap the stats twice you are actually are buffing your minions to a ridiculous point. It just adds some fun combo-y sort of plays to murloc decks. Probably not viable, but fun to play around with.
I feel like 1x Anyfin Can Happen is enough. Divine Favor and Oracle is a lot of draw, you do not want 2 of these in your hand.
It will take some playing around with. The advantage of having 2 copies is you are more likely to have drawn it by turn 10, and it gives you that much more late game board power. The main drawback is getting one or both copies too early in the game will not be good at all. I'll probably end up only running one, but we will see.
I have been played with 2x Anyfin Can Happen, and I can say that its really OP, because let's consider that you are in turn 10 and your enemy has the table full (considering you have the both Anyfin Can Happen cards in your hand), the fist one you can literally clear enemy board and second turn 10, you get your table full again and 90% chance lethal... (I could see that from my bad games... Normally you win before turn 10) really fun and powerful deck!
