Hearthpwn

The Dark Iron Arena on Heroic has had me stumped. I have not had all the legendary cards to build other decks posted. This deck was my hybrid of the other freeze/control mage decks out there and finally did the trick for me. There is luck involved. My win was when mirror entity gave me darkwing and my unstable portal produced a minion that gave darkwing taunt.

The strategy with this deck is to kill everything he plays. Freeze his more dangerous minions. Let him fill his deck with low threat minions. I found he would let me keep Sorc Apprentice on the field. This can give you an early flamestrike to get rid of all those pecky taunts. With hero power and a table advantage on minions you should be able to keep ahead of him and begin to wear him down.
