Deck Name: 4Horseman Recruit Paladin

Description: The 4 Horseman revolves around a devastating combo: summoning the four different 4-Horsemen and swiftly ending your opponent's hopes. The key cards for this combo are Garrison Commander, Sing-Along Buddy, and Uther of the Ebon Blade. Here's how the combo unfolds:

Combo Execution:

  1. Setup Phase: Search through your deck for an Order in the Court card (2). Once you find it, rearrange your deck.
  2. Draw Phase: Draw Uther of the Ebon Blade (9) and Nozdormu the Timeless (4) / Call to arms (4).
  3. Turn 4: Play Nozdormu the Timeless, which sets your mana crystals to 10, setting the stage for the upcoming turns.
  4. Turn 5: With the increased mana pool, cast Uther of the Ebon Blade (9).
  5. Turn 6: Utilize Call to Arms (4), summoning Sing-Along Buddy and Garrison Commander. With 8 mana remaining, execute your hero power twice (which is 4 mana), thanks to Garrison Commander's effect, completing the 4 Horsemen.
  6. Victory! With all four Horsemen assembled, your opponent's fate is sealed.

Flexibility: If you happen to draw Sing-Along Buddy (2) or Garrison Commander (2) earlier in the game, it doesn't hinder your combo setup. Since you require 8 mana for the combo turn, you can adapt by summoning a combination of these minions with Call to Arms (4). Alternatively, you can play these minions separately without Call to Arms, adjusting your strategy based on the situation.

Key Cards:

  • Garrison Commander
  • Sing-Along Buddy
  • Uther of the Ebon Blade
  • Nozdormu the Timeless
  • Order in the Court
  • Call to Arms

Strategy: Mulligan aggressively for Order in the Court to kickstart your combo setup. Prioritize card draw and Discover to find the Order in the Court as early as possible. This is done with cards like Stonehearth Vindicator, Service Bell, Flash of Light and Card Grader. Control by cards like Consecration, Hammer of Wrath or Uther's Gift. Lay Down the Law, City Tax and Wave of Apathy are there to be flexible like killing or stalling the game. Same goes for Starlight Groove and Time Out! Who will prevent taking damage. Be mindful of disruption effects from your opponent and plan your plays accordingly (Counter minion/counter spell kind of cards).

Mulligan: Any  match up Order in the Court is top priority. Service Bell and Card Grader are great if you don't have Order in the Court yet.
Against aggro, make sure to have some removal, Against Control/combo make sure to think of disruption turns, Against Tempo/midrange make sure to have cards like Wave of Apathy to go along with you uther of the Ebon Blade, to prevent all damage taken on the following turn.

Warning: Your Nozdormu the Timeless and Uther of the Ebon Blade turn, are your weakest turns. If you lose to decks this is your weak point. The 9 mana potentially heal 10 is not great.

Conclusion: This deck offers an unique win condition and nostalgia to an old-school combo, centered around summoning the legendary 4-Horsemen.

Change: Try Emperor Thaurissan instead of an consecration

Feel free to adjust the deck, I have been tweaking the deck for a week now. And i am still debating on some other ways to get to the combo more safely.

If you have any questions, id love to hear additions/substitutions to the deck and discuss what the best way to play this old-school combo is.
