our boi Drek'Thar enables this aggressive version of spell druid, which aims to close out games around turn 5 by using Guff Runetotem's buffs on Drek'thar himself and an unInjured Blademaster (as a 4/7)
mulligan is quite straight forward irrespective of the matchup
you want Drek'Thar or Capture Coldtooth Mine (tutor for Drek'thar) so hard mulligan for those
ideally, you should be ready to pop off on the same turn you play Drek'thar, by using Innervate, Lightning Bloom and Nature Studies in conjunction with other cheap nature spells. Depending on the matchup, you might want to protect Guff Runetotem by creating a taunt on the same turn or the turn before. Sometimes Drek'thar will fail to pull Guff, but it's kinda okay since you will get a big board of 4/7s nonetheless
remember that playing Resizing Pouch at 1 mana will often give you Lighting Bloom or Innervate, which is a very desirable outcome going into your Drek'thar turn. If you already have Drek'thar in hand, Capture Coldtooth Mine will also fetch you an Innervate or Lightning Bloom
if Drek'thar pulled the 4/7s, Capture Coldtooth Mine will tutor Guff and then you can pop off

What a fuckin sad state of the game
I have to thank you, this deck is insane. I made legend with it on all three servers, my score is 126-92 between DIA5 and legend, 58% winrate. Everybody is playing greedy decks now, waiting for Kazakusan and you kill them with this before they start their game. It is perfect as it is, every replacement is making it worse.
And the score 126-92 is the total score, so including playing before the miniexpansion, after it, it is much better, the last 40 games 24-16.

I am enjoying this deck but I had to drop an uninjured Blademaster. It pulled double Blademaster so often, and its really not OK to not get Guff in the Pull unless you draw him right after. Lost like 4 games in a row to really shitty RNG drawing doubles. I subbed one out of a Guidance and its been working better.
Haven't played hearthstone in 3 years. Came back, made this deck and went from Bronze 10 to Diamond 5 in 2 days lmfao.
Super fun concept but somehow I'm 1-5. Get the combo out turn 3-4 but somehow every deck I face have a super convenient clear.

if you dont win by this win condition you just lose? is there anything that can be changed to be a little more midgame consistent? or is this just the reason you have a 54-60% WR, facing priests/shamans/etc anything that can silence or devolve your board after setting it up ?

It’s certainly an “all in” kind of deck. If you start running higher cost spells (like Glowfly Swarm + some board buffs) as alternative win conditions, you will make your main wincon worse. And obviously you cannot run high cost minions or a large pool of minions, because your Drek’thar will become ineffective.
The deck’s win rate is obviously very high when you can do your Drek’thar thing - you lose to the occasional Devolving Missiles and little else.
On the other hand and like you said, if the deck bricks, then you only have a slim chance to win. I’d say it turns into a 20-80 or so, irrespective of the matchup. I have won a few games with Guff in hand, by having a treant from Sow the Soil or a turtle from Thorngrowth Sentries stick for one turn, and then going off with Guff on the following turn.
But yeah otherwise I think we could call the archetype YOLO Druid xD

pretty filthy deck. U can sometimes even pull out the combo in turn 2 or 3 which leaves people just quitting immediately. been climing na with it.

i think the hero card would fit in very well for a big combo
and you can find Yogg
without the hero card i would replace resizing pouch for guidance

The deck tries to close out games around turn 5, so I don't think the hero helps very much with this.
Most of the time we use Resizing Pouch at 1 mana, to find Innervate and Lighting Bloom.
The deck is in fact quite degenerate ^^ give it a try!
