Introduction!

Hi guys im shane im a multi high legend ex collegiate Hearthstone player. I have been around since Goblin's and Gnomes and naturally love playing the game. I love helping and learning more about how to play the game at the highest level so let me know if you need any help. I love deck building and note I will tinker with this more and more as I love Zoo and I think it is the most fun for me to grind with.

What is a Zoo Warlock?

The idea of the deck zoo warlock, revolves around steady pressure thanks to Warlock hero power, Life Tap, which grants us card draw at the cost of 2 health. There is a constant supply of minions that will have to trade very efficiently with the opposition to succeed in taking down the other player.

There is a heavy emphasis on the 1 and 2 drop minions most of them are sticky and can take damage while still being a threat on board.

WHY I DID WHAT I DID.

I included eggs solely because how strong buff zoo was in the past. It was able to crush other aggro decks and maintain a steady even win rate against control and other decks of that nature. I want to say the inclusion of the watch tower is AMAZING for us. Although it seems like a heavy minion we can always play it on curve and know that it will soak pressure for us. Most zoo turns are very flexible and I know we can get pressure out before turn 4 if we want to play it on curve. Treating it as a buff. I will tinker with the deck as much as possible throughout the course of the expansion.

 S T R A T E G Y

A lot of the cards here deal damage to us on purpose or heal us with draws for the purpose of a cheap Flesh Giant we shall see if its worth keeping those giants in the deck. Another thing is the inclusion of the Envoy Rustwix I wanted to have an answer to games where we have to play for lategame pressure or against mages who can just milk us out till we have no more value.

Raise Dead, Flame Imp, Backfire, and Life Tap deal damage to us on our turn. This is of course for Flesh Giant.

Its obviously going to hurt and we need health gain in anyway we can get so whilst cycling through our deck Soul Fragment will keep us healthy so there are a two cards in there that will do that which are.. Spirit Jailer and Soul Shear

The deck has options of ranged removal like Soul Shear, Shadowlight Scholar and Grimoire of Sacrifice. You might be wondering why we would want to kill off our minions and that will be for getting better ones by proc-ing the egg death rattles from Nerubian Egg and Boneweb Egg

Lastly the deck operates on buffs to keep a steady supply or pressure. So with Defender of Argus, Wicked Whispers, Wriggling Horror, a single Dire Wolf Alpha, and our Crossroads Watch Post we can look to buff and keep our cards strong and healthy.
