Pretty easy deck to pilot:
- VS aggro classes like rouge and the hunters; keep 1 drops, Cobra(to buff and taunt). Clear their shit and finish them with buffed Rhinos and Trueaim combo.
- VS Midrange classes/low removal classes, like druid, shaman, paladin, mage; keep Moonfang (stick one and buff it to hell, sometimes copy and it's GG) and sometimes Diving Gryphon/Animal Companion on coin.
- Always keep Shando and Don't Feed the Animals.
This deck has multiple win conditions/ways to play, the trick is knowing what/when to go for:
- TON of burst with buffed/copied Rhinos and Trueaim combo, kill Command for good measure
- Stick and copy a buffed Moonfang, there are 3 classes; Mage, Druid, Shaman that have no way to deal with this insane card
- Aggro and midrange playstyle; buffed and copied Wolpertingers, adorbs, and Cobras to own the board. Then finish them off with burst.
A few tips:
- Try to play your Diving and Inginuity before playing your handbuff
- you can attack with Trueaim to kill a divine shield minion, then still attack face with the minion.
- Don't get greedy vs rouge, dh, and hunters. they will take advantage!
- Think carefully about how you play your Shando Wildclaw, as she has multiple uses. Playing her for the deck buff on turn 3 is almost always ok.
0-6 So far vs 5/6 different classes..
How does this deck do against Ramp Paladin?
EDIT: Played this deck for a day and have to agree with everyone else, there's just no way this deck is good.
Wish I Would read the comments first sometimes :(
There's still a toxic environment on HS where decks get upvotes for no reason
Yeah this site is full of trash decks getting upvoted.
Except mage and shaman decks don't run those cards. I've played shamans and mages with the deck obviously, and none of them were able to remove moonfang easily.
Absolutely Trash!
Absolutely trash²
It was good enough for me to go from D5 to Legend in a single day of playing, with a 65% winrate. Whilst constantly playing against spell druids, control warlocks, and aggro rouges, T1 decks. I mean if that is trash... I'm actually curious what your standard for a trash deck is? If a deck isn't optimized by 1000s of games and pros playing it's automatically trash? I get it if you're a really shitty player, I'm not going to trash you for that. I'm bad at some games too.
And actually It was a 71% winrate. I was playing this deck before MoonFang came out. Current iteration of the deck, with moonfang is 20-8. So yeah, get good before you call a deck trash.
Very weak against the popular new token druid but very fun, definetly try it but do not expect to climb if your pocket meta is druid
Shaman can't deal with moonfang? XD This is a joke?
mage too :D
and what about devolving missiles/polymorph, silence, hex , dormant from valeera , etc and so on?
Except mage and shaman decks don't run those cards. I've played shamans and mages with the deck obviously, and none of them were able to remove moonfang easily.
Deck looks really fun. I tried around 20 games and lost 90% of them due to the fact, that there is no chance to come back on board. Alot of the time i got second and it felt like the deck misses out on impactful 2 drops. You always play from behind since 6 of the 8 2 drops dont do anything imidiately. Against all the other aggro decks out there it feels to slow.
You are either very unlucky of playing the deck wrong. Here are my stats for 1 day of play. It was actually over 70% wr, as I was playing this deck before moonfang came out. After the expansion I racked up hella wins and got legend in a day.
Sick deck, will definitely give it a shot
