Hearthpwn

Greetings all I hope you guys are staying safe rn. A little intro im a small streamer without even a sub button on twitch.tv/promsaka I achieved legend many times and peaked top 100 at the end of the old rank system. I took a break from hearthstone but came back and instantly fell in love with the game again! Without further ado here is the guide!

I feel that the pirate package in Hearthstone has always been my favorite to play but it lacked a lot of supporting cards, slowly however the cards have finally arrived to bring us what we needed to run pirates and not lose our ranked games. The deck is very simple and I will do a card explanation at its core. Followed by mulligan guide versus different decks and then I will link a budget version for those who want to try it out without fully committing to the full budget version!

So the deck at its core does revolve around pirates but the mains few cards are the weapons and the buffers to the weapons like Captain Greenskin and the Corsair Cache Without these cards we would not have a steady support system for our weapons! Ancharrr and Livewire Lance are how we draw and refill our hand to have constant value. Lackys and drawing pirates to continue support is how we usually win our games. Very rarely do we combo someone amd SMOrc from 30 to 0.. With that being said its important to have the pirate package. to make this deck and there are no replacements to the pirates. Additionally there is no need for more pirates as we have enough support and synergy and the other pirates lack the power level that we are looking for in our VERY OVERPOWERED deck xd

Here is how our deck works starting with MULLIGAN! 
We ideally look for the best pirate to have on opening hand which is Bloodsail Corsair We want the card draw on turn one with our 2 mana Corsair Cache. Against Hunter, Paladin, Demon Hunter, and Priest we want to contest board early or we WILL lose the match up. Its very skill based and you must play almost perfectly given the information you have to play with and your draws. For Warlock zoo we want to follow the previous instructions but draw Warlock, Mage, Warrior, Shaman, and Druid we really need the value so draw your Rampage when you can! Prefer drawing Your Southsea Captain to synergize with other pirates and draw Ancharrr and Livewire Lance. 

We always play for value and that means we are not some brain dead aggro deck it takes a lot of patience and practice to pilot the deck with a high winrate.  

Play slow as in look for cards that maximize value. An ideal opener would be something like this. Turn 1 mull for Corsair Cache and then turn 3 a (3 mana weapon) into Dread Corsair on the same turn with coin. OR we can save coin and go for a Kor'kron Elite on 4 into Captain Greenskin on 5 to buff your weapon into either a 4-1 or 4-2 depending on if you hit with the weapon. It feels really bad all the time to play an unbuffed weapon in this deck but it really makes it worth to pilot when you have quality worth-while weapons. Grommash Hellscream is used as a finisher and it feels bad to play without him being activated so we use Inner Rage or Whirlwind to proc him. Be creative with ways to finish because lethal might not be obvious!

******** Huge tip that I like to do. I never armor up when its turn 2 or 3 if I have no play Ill pass and the reason is so I can get injured and add a card draw from Battle Rage Also if i see i have 2 copies of the card Mortal Strike Ill try to get low (under 12 hp) so I get 4 mana deal 6 instead of 4 mana deal 4. *******************
