Hello everyone! TheDoctor here again with another tavern brawl deck design. I’d you haven’t seen my decks before, I rarely make constructed lists but I always enjoy finding easy ways to win tavern brawls. I’ve fought the brawl ten times with this deck and have yet to lose once.

Better yet, this list is completely standard! No need to craft Loatheb or any of the other wild cards. Instead, just introduce Ragnaros to the claws that bite.

I won’t go into too much detail on the combo since I’m sure you’re all painfully aware of what the combo for this deck is. The only major change is the removal of Zola and addition of Mindbreaker. This was done because Zola is a legendary and I wanted to make this deck as budget as possible. Also, she isn’t necessary for this fight at all. Additionally, the mindbreaker can help to keep Rag’s hero power under control. Anyway, a couple pointers:

1) Mulligan for card draw and removal, throw back any combo piece that isn’t going to help you control the board.

2) You can guarantee that Shudderwock won’t whiff and hit the Grumble battle cry first by using Murmuring Elemental into Grumble to get a 1 mana Murmuring Elemental in hand to play on your Shudderwock turn. Making Shudderwock’s battlecdy trigger twice makes it guarantee success.

3) Pay attention to hand size. Don’t run out of room to bounce back Shudderwock’s.

4) MOST IMPORTANT: Don’t damage Ragnaros until you’re ready. Don’t hit his face with anything besides the lifedrunkers until you are ready to start your combo. If he takes ten damage it will switch over to the second phase of the fight and it will become much harder to control the board while you set up the otk.
