Post nerf metagame is here! Having a great time and solid winrate with this OTK Paladin, looks like he is back. Playing it right now on stream
Pure beauty !!!!
This is the deck i was looking for !
Just completed a run from rank 10 (0stars) to rank 5 (3 stars) with only 3 loses...
It took me 3 hours to achieve it :).
This deck fits the meta perfectly.
Funny, at the start of January I beat StanCifca on ladder with my version of OTK Paladin. I told him it was probably the highlight for me this year monkaS .
The main reason to try OTK over a normal control version for me was that nonaggro Paladin obviously didn’t had a chance va Raaza Priest,or now Control/ Cubelock.
Hotform also try‘s a cool variation that looks close to mine , the main issue I have with this archetype is that the decks you are aim to otk have several tools to deny you getting coins from the Bully(some run silence , Warlocs can kill him later with their heropower over 2 turns or just slam big minions on the board that fight the Bully without using spells.
Maybe someone is already Legend with this archetype??
Played 15 games, won just over half of them. Lost at least 3 to my own sequencing because Call to Arms pulled a Pyromancer and my intended spells would then kill all my own stuff, though I do like the ability to tutor it up in the late game. This was balanced out by 3 of my opponents not killing the single horseman I had out. I feel like a lot of wins you get sometimes are because people just don't know metadecks; I'm playing Burgly Bully for a reason, it should be obvious to my opponent after they've seen one what my plan is.
I think the principle of the deck is good but I'd prefer something more greedy. I got absolutely destroyed by what I assume is a similar deck but with N'zoth and Tirion and didn't draw all of the board clears ever, so didn't win that game.
Will keep trying it. Presumably Stancifka has more knowledge than me since he plays for a living, so yeah.
Replying to myself but Kripp's latest video about making Call to Arms tutor for Doomsayer is actually nuts.

Not sure if the Sunsorrow package is worth it but it has benefits, like potentially making your Pyromancer poisonous.
I'm wondering if Auctionmaster Beardo is a good craft right now... 2 months before it rotates out to Wild... It comes down to whether or not the combo will be viable in Wild and I'm afraid the answer is no.
There are so many Spellbreakers out there to run Spikeridged Steed but it's okay, it's a very good card not to include one at least. I won so many games with OTK Pally when KotFT was released, what a good times, I'd gladly play this deck again.
I was instinctly going to say this comment was overestimating the amount of silence out there but it's actually really accurate. I think my Steed'd minion got silenced maybe 4 out of 5 games.
Is this combo reliably?
Untap with 10 mana as DK Uther, 4xtap + Beardo = 11 mana, so you need to cast 3 spells that net a total of 1 mana. With no 0 mana spells that's either 2 coins + Humility or straight up 3 coins.
Seems hard to pull off just from the coins generated by bully, or am I missing something here?
it feels super unreliable to me, more like a "might sometimes happen" situation and not like a real win condition.
Oh, I get it now... Beardo is for late game, after you've transformed into the DK, so that you can assemble all four of the horsemen in one turn. That's neat. Makes me wish I had the Palli DK so I could try it out, because I haven't found a single use for Beardo ever since he was the first legendary that I pulled from that expansion. I wonder if there are any other OTK combos with him, for different classes. About the only thing that comes to mind is a double-buffed Priest, maybe with Shadowform and Raza. You'd need 5 spells for 5 or less mana, though, since 5 mana needs to go to 5 Shadowforms (maxed at 3), so when doubled that's 5 x 6 = 30. Hmmm...
